Biking the Three Rivers Greenway

Biking is the transportation mode of choice for many. In recent years the City of Columbia has taken many steps to improve and advance the culture of bicycling, walking and transit in the city through various initiates. The Three Rivers Greenway, located right outside your door at CanalSide Lofts, is a great example of one of the multi-use trails used for biking, walking and jogging.

The beautiful 11-mile Three Rivers Greenway riverfront pathway offers views of the downtown skyline and where the convergence of the Broad and Saluda rivers, forming the Congaree River, along with forested paths.

Whether you’re looking to get outside to ride your bike on a beautiful day, or just go on a stroll away from downtown, the Three Rivers Greenway is a great escape. The trail is also wheelchair accessible and a great place to go with the whole family. With the weather warming up, you might as well take your workout and relaxation outdoors!

3-8 | Take Me Out to the Fireflies Ballgame

Plan a night out with friends and head over to the ballpark! The Columbia Fireflies home opener is just around the corner, as they take on the Greenville Drive Thursday, April 14 at the brand new Spirit Communication Park. First pitch will be thrown at 7:05 p.m. on Thirsty Thursday. Attendees can enjoy half-priced draft beer and fountain drinks and postgame fireworks.

New to the Columbia community, the Fireflies are the South Atlantic League affiliate with the New York Mets. Just last night, the Columbia Fireflies unveiled their team mascot, Mason. Continue reading
